3M Cubitron II Roloc Sanding Disc 984F offers a superior solution for medium to high pressure sanding applications where there is a need for a smaller disc. Ideally suited for stainless steel, cobalt/chrome and nickel alloys.
Use the 3M Cubitron II Roloc Durable Grinding Wheel 984F for exceptional grinding speed and longer tool life. Our discs have a laminated double polyester backing for extra durability and wear resistance when working on edges. With the integrated Grinding Aid, this is an excellent product for any type of metal: this grinding aid keeps the disc cooler on stainless steels and heat-sensitive metals such as nickel alloys and titanium. Moreover, it reduces discolouration/oxidation of the metal, as well as the risk of heat-related stress cracking. These discs contain abrasive grains pre-shaped into triangular calibrated abrasive tips (3M Precision Shaped Grain) that cut through metal like a knife, instead of grooving or gouging like traditional abrasives. The tips constantly sharpen themselves as small pieces break off, cutting through material extremely quickly. As a result, operators are less likely to fatigue during difficult jobs.
